30 Days of Thankfulness Challenge
At this time each year we see an influx of gratitude challenges pop up in our media feed. I usually do not partake because I think we should be grateful every day. But this year is a different story.
We spent this past weekend with my Dad in Florida celebrating his 70th birthday, we hung out with family and soaked up the 75 degree weather. All of this made it REALLY hard to head back home to NC with the lows in the mid-thirties. By the end of our twelve hour trek home I was in a funk.
When I woke up this morning with the same attitude I realized it was time to take action. Left unchecked, I can easily fall into a dark hole and it is hard to climb my way out.
I have decided that this is the year that I will take the challenge. Rumor has it, it takes thirty days to create a new habit and I would like to head into the new year with a new attitude.
Each day during the month of November I will post a photo of something I am thankful for. We can usually find what we are looking for, so why not look for the good stuff? It’s really that simple.
Join me if you’re up for the challenge or follow along on social media.
